I wanted to share an Advent Calendar that I look so forward to every year. I am not an affiliate, and I don’t get any free product or commissions for sharing this. It is just something that brings me some joy each year and I thought if I enjoyed it this much, someone else might be blessed with it!
Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendar
The Jacquie Lawson Advent Calendar is a digital advent calendar that you put on your phone, tablet, or computer. Each year they release the new one in November. In years past it was based on a European location but this year it is a village that isn’t in a particular place. I have done one in London, Paris, and Sussex. It costs 9.99 and is well worth it.
I know many times book lovers can be homebodies. They love cozy and seasons and beautiful things. This Advent Calendar is all those things. The graphics are beautiful and each day in December you open an ornament that gives you a fun video to watch.
You also open a new present in your cottage every day, sometimes they are a new decoration, a game or puzzle, or just something fun! Speaking of your own cottage, when you first open your calendar, you get your own house and inside is a Christmas tree. You get to decorate it and the rest of your place with different color choices. You can even change the pillows and the artwork around the room. You can turn your fireplace on or off, and the same with the lamps.
If you enter the app in the day, it is daylight there and if it’s at night it will be night in your village. You can get this for your computer, your apple or android phone or tablet. I really love playing the game on my tablet.
The music on the app is beautiful!! It has such a relaxing tone, my husband enjoys the music so much when I’m playing in the room with him. He finds it very relaxing.
If you have older people in your life that can use basic tech on devices this makes a perfect gift for them. The children in your life will love it as well. I have heard many families give every year to nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and even neighbors. It has truly become a tradition for many!
