Kindle Unlimited has come a long way since it began. When it first came out romance and new authors was the only books available. There is nothing wrong with either of those but if you had other genre’s you were interested in or beloved authors you knew you were out of luck. I wrote a post recently on how you can get so much more out of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription!
There are now thousands of books and so many choices. I like to keep a wish list on Amazon just for unlimited books I want to read. This helps me keep track of the books without forgetting. I label it Unlimited. Keep in mind though, just like shows and movies on Netflix or Prime books come and go so they won’t be there forever.
With all that said here are some titles I have read on Kindle Unlimited or titles I would like to read. Keep in mind if you are into romance there are a ton of books in that category, I just read very little romance so it is not what I focus on.
I like to get my readers input on blog post for book lists, I usually get that from my broadcast channel on facebook, to join click here!
Best Kindle Unlimited Books
The Outlaw Noble Salt by Amy Harmon
I’m just about to finish this book. If you love historical romance, a little adventure, and a little outlaw, this is a great book! I’m a big Amy Harmon fan and this one did not disappoint. I have two more on this list by here below this one.
A Girl by Samson by Amy Harmon
Deborah Samson was born in 1760 in Plympton, Massachusetts, to Puritan parents. After her father left and her mother couldn’t provide for the family, Deborah was sent to work as an indentured servant. From early on, she longed for freedom and adventure.
By her early twenties, with the colonies fighting for independence, Deborah felt called to join the cause. She disguised herself as a man and enlisted in the Continental Army. Her tall, slender frame helped her pull off the disguise, and soon she was facing the brutal realities of war.
As she battled for her country’s freedom, Deborah also had to hide her true identity—and found herself unexpectedly falling in love along the way.

J.B. West served as the chief usher of the White House, overseeing everything from daily routines to major events at the president’s request. He was in charge of state dinners, weddings, funerals, renovations, and even the gardens and playgrounds. With the help of a large staff, he managed all aspects of life inside the presidential residence. Over his 28 years—first as assistant usher and later as chief usher—he worked closely with six presidents and first ladies, witnessing historic moments and interacting with their families, guests, and world leaders.

This was a nice short book about how books shape our lives. As a avid reader, I could relate to every word.
For many of us, reading is more than just a pastime—it’s a way of life. Books shape our thoughts, stir our emotions, and become part of who we are. We simply can’t picture life without them.

Finlay Donvan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano
This one is laugh out loud funny! If you need something to make you laugh and escape and love a good mystery along with it-this one is for you!
Being a single mom is tough—but for Finlay Donovan, it’s murder. In Finlay Donovan Is Killing It, Elle Cosimano delivers a sharp, witty adult debut where juggling kids, deadlines, and crime becomes hilariously complicated. It’s the first book in a clever new series that’s as fast-paced as it is fun.
Things you Save in a Fire by Katherine Center
One of the 2019 Amazon.com Best Books of the Year and I totally see why. I’m not a big romance reader and I really enjoyed this one!
Cassie Hanwell is no stranger to chaos—she thrives in it. As one of the few women in her Texas firehouse, she’s handled countless emergencies with skill and calm. But when her estranged, ill mother asks her to leave everything behind and move to Boston, Cassie faces a crisis she never trained for—one that hits much closer to home.
I know I have a lot of Kristen Hannah fans, I can not read her because her books are very sad. I don’t do very sad but I have no doubt she is an amazing writer. My facebook community is always talking about her books. Many of her books make the top read of the year list with my readers.
Emotional and deeply moving, Night Road explores powerful themes of motherhood, identity, love, and forgiveness. Kristin Hannah delivers a heartbreaking yet hopeful story about loss, the strength of the human spirit, and the healing power of family and forgiveness—showcasing her storytelling at its finest.
Winter Garden by Kristen Hannah
Winter Garden is a beautifully written novel that weaves together a sweeping love story and a deeply personal look at women facing life’s turning points. Lyrical and emotional, it’s a haunting, unforgettable tale that stays with you long after it ends.
One of the greatest series of all time in my opinion! You can read all of the books on Kindle Unlimited . To me it is worth it just to get those done. IF you happen to be someone who hasn’t got to experience them for the first time and if that is you, I’m SO jealous!
Coming Home: A Novel by Rosamunde Pilcher
I love Rosamunde Pilcher, my favorite book from her was Winter Solstice. I have not read this one yet, but looking forward toward it.
Set in a grand Cornwall estate on the eve of World War II and unfolding across countries during the chaos of the war, this sweeping novel follows a remarkable young woman as she grows up, experiences both love and heartbreak, and ultimately finds her way back home—in every sense of the word.
I have heard wonderful things about his book, can’t wait to read it!
Theo of Golden is a thoughtfully written tale that highlights the impact of creative giving, the role of wonder in living with purpose, and the unexpected ripple effects of quiet, selfless acts of kindness.
The London House by Katherine Reay
Katherine Reay is another author I enjoy, my favorite of hers being Dr. Mr. Knightly
In this heartfelt historical novel by award-winning author Katherine Reay, a young woman named Caroline is given the chance to shape the next chapter of her family’s legacy. But as she uncovers long-buried truths, she must decide whether to follow her heart—carefully—if there’s any hope of healing her family’s deep, lingering scars.
When the Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer
Libby has a remarkable gift—she lives two lives, one in 1774 Colonial Williamsburg and the other in 1914 Gilded Age New York City. Each time she falls asleep in one era, she wakes up in the other. Though she remains the same at heart, the worlds she inhabits couldn’t be more different.
Daisy Darker: A Novel by Alice Feeney
I love a good twist and turn from Alice Feeney, my favorite is Rock, Paper, Scissors. It is also on the Unlimited Library!
Stranded on an isolated island with a killer among them, the Darker family must confront not only the chilling mystery unfolding around them but also the secrets they’ve kept hidden for years. Daisy Darker, featured on the TODAY show and a Book of the Month pick, is packed with jaw-dropping twists and gripping suspense that will keep you hooked until the final reveal.
The Queens Gambit: by Beth Brower
Eleanor, the young queen of Aemogen, faces an impossible choice: give in to the powerful Imirillion Empire or risk everything in a war her country isn’t ready for. Determined to protect her people’s freedom, she chooses to fight.
When Wil Traveler, a disillusioned soldier from the enemy’s ranks, crosses into Aemogen, Eleanor makes a bold move—asking him to train her inexperienced army, even though she suspects he could be a spy. As war looms, Eleanor must confront tough questions about leadership and loyalty, while Wil keeps the secrets of his dark past hidden.
The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion by Beth Brower
I have started the journals and they are amazing. Another series that makes Kindle Unlimited worth the money!
It’s 1883, and Emma M. Lion has returned to her quirky London neighborhood of St. Crispian’s, hoping for a quiet, scholarly life. But those plans quickly unravel thanks to her eccentric Cousin Archibald, her no-nonsense Aunt Eugenia, and the delightfully peculiar residents around her.
In The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion, Emma shares her personal (and sometimes embarrassing) reflections with wit and dry humor as she navigates the chaos of life at Lapis Lazuli House. Fans of Jane Austen, P.G. Wodehouse, L.M. Montgomery, and Jean Webster will feel right at home.
The Word is Murder by Anthony Horowitz
If you love a good whodunit like I do this series is for you. The first book The Word is Murder is on Kindle Unlimited and many of the others in the series are super cheap. This is my favorite series of his. He is actually in the books as himself with a grumpy retired policeman, now a private detective. My husband and i both enjoy this series.
The Soulmate: A Novel by Sally Hepworth
“The book is many things: a crime story, a psychological study, a blueprint for how and when to mete out information in a thriller. But most of all it is an inquiry into the mysteries of marriage and commitment, and into what we owe our spouses and one another.” —The New York Times Book Review
All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot
I used to read James Herriot to my children when they were young. PBS Masterpiece now has this show and it is delightful! Stories of a beloved vet.
The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis
A captivating story about the irresistible magic of books and finding the bravery to change the narrative of our own lives, from the Amazon Charts bestselling author of The Keeper of Happy Endings and The Last of the Moon Girls.
Ashlyn Greer, a rare-book dealer, has a connection to books that goes far beyond their alluring scent of aged paper, ink, and leather—she can sense the lingering emotions of those who once owned them, an ability unique to her. When she comes across two exquisitely bound volumes that seem to have never been published, Ashlyn is instantly drawn in. Each book carries a shocking accusation within its pages, and their authors—Hemi and Belle—share two very different versions of the same heartbreaking love story.
Newly married, Tricia and Ethan are on the hunt for their perfect home.
Their search leads them to a secluded estate once owned by Dr. Adrienne Hale, a famous psychiatrist who mysteriously disappeared four years ago. But before they can leave, a fierce winter storm blows in, stranding them at the manor until the snow clears.
Looking for something to pass the time, Tricia stumbles upon a hidden room filled with cassette recordings—sessions from every patient Dr. Hale ever treated. As she begins listening, she uncovers a chilling sequence of events that reveal what might have happened to the missing doctor.
Night after night, Tricia plays another tape. Each one exposes a new and disturbing clue, gradually pulling back the curtain on Dr. Hale’s tangled web of secrets and lies.
Everyone on this Train is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson
From the bestselling author of Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone comes a wickedly entertaining locked-room murder mystery set aboard a train—perfect for fans of Murder on the Orient Express. Featuring Ernest Cunningham, “Stevenson has delivered a modern-day Poirot for today’s mystery lovers” (Michelle Carpenter).
When the Australian Mystery Writers’ Society invited me to join their crime-writing festival on the Ghan—the legendary rail line from Darwin to Adelaide—I thought it would be the perfect chance to spark ideas for my second book. I wanted to write fiction this time, not more tales of real-life murder. But of course, things didn’t quite work out that way.
