I love the new trend where people are asking for children’s books instead of cards for a baby shower. This gives the new mom and dad a great book collection to start their children’s library!
Over the last few years, I have had people ask me for a great list of books they could pick from to take to a baby shower.
I would say first, any children’s book you love will be perfect. Maybe it is a book you loved as a child or one you loved reading to your children. You can even take a chapter book like Charlotte’s Webb, if the mom only gets books for babies, they will outgrow them-so you truly can’t go wrong with any book.
You could also go with a classic like Winnie the Pooh, Peter Rabbit, or a good treasury book!
All that said I wanted to give you some favorites of mine. I also did quite a bit of research to see what books other moms enjoyed getting for the new baby and came up with quite the list!
Hope you find something for the new baby in your or your loved one’s life!
