Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently made a generous $2 million donation to help support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program dedicated to encouraging a love of reading in young children. Dolly shared her heartfelt appreciation, saying she was “blown away and overjoyed” by their incredible kindness.
The Imagination Library provides children with a free, carefully selected, age-appropriate book every month from birth until they start school. Thanks to the support of local communities and generous partners, families around the world can receive these books at no cost, helping children build a lifelong love of reading from an early age.
“Taylor and Travis, it’s Dolly, and I was just told that you two were making a donation of $2 million to my Imagination Library,” Parton, 80, says of the donation to her book gifting philanthropy in the video. “I’m blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude.”
